You see, there are certain habits that can truly hurt your sex life in more ways than one.
You do not want to rely too much on libido boosters for men just to keep you in the mood for
love, right?

In today’s article, I am going to highlight some of the bad habits that can hurt your sex
life which you should change immediately.

Eating Foods that Are Bad for You

If you are a habitual junk food eater, then you are filling your body with trans fat, refined
carbs, saturated fat, and simple sugars- all of which are detrimental to good overall
health. If you constantly eat such foods, you are running the risk of developing
dangerous medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol levels
that result in arterial blockage, and many more.

Now, I am not saying that you should completely eliminate junk-food from your diet (but
hey, if you could, then why not?), but what I am saying is that you should incorporate
healthier foods into the mix.

Think about eating more fruits, vegetables, and whole foods (not processed ones).

Consuming Way Too Much Salt

I know that gorging on French fries, eating a lot of ramen, and other salty foods are
great but the problem is that these foods actually contain a lot of sodium. Seriously, just
take a look at the nutrition information on the labels of these foods and you will be
surprised that you are eating foods that are rich in salt.

Now, salt is required by the body, but only in controlled quantities. You should not
exceed more than 2000mg of sodium a day. What happens when you have excessive
salt in the body? Well, aside from inflammation due to water retention, you are also at
risk of getting high blood pressure.

Chronic Stress

Stress, in controlled levels, is good for the body. However, chronic stress– the one that
constantly wears you out- not only is detrimental to your overall health but it can
certainly reduce your sex drive as well.

Fortunately, there are certain activities that you can do to help reduce stress such as
doing your hobbies, taking a short walk, exercise, eating the right foods, and so on.

Sticking to the Same Routine Over and Over Again
There are some people that prefer the familiar over something novel, but when it comes
to enjoying sex, you must try different things to keep the spark alive.

Think about trying different sex positions, incorporating sex toys, or even massaging
your partner after sex. Do something different from time to time.

Not Communicating to Your Partner

There are some people that are afraid to bring something up with their partners. Well,
that is bad because communication should always be there. Not only will it spice up
your sex life but it can also improve your relationship as well.

If you have anything that you want to say- like an idea on a new sex position or perhaps
going to a certain event or something- always communicate with your partner.

Drinking Too Much

Drinking alcohol, per se, is not bad at all. In fact, red wine and some alcoholic drinks
actually provide you with some health benefits.

However, it only becomes bad if you are drinking way too much (more than two
glasses). In moderation, alcohol consumption is okay, but if you go overboard, that can
seriously inhibit your ability to perform in bed.
